stuff to say about nothing much

I have this friend who blogs so dang well! She is a natural. She has this *chain of thought* kind of writing that that fills space with ideas and concepts and a new way of looking at things. She can take a thought and pull it all around and make it into something -- without characters and plot. Just funny as all get out! She is one of those talented people who just got it all, in spades. Sings like an angel too.
Me? I think about boots. And jewelry.
And the threesome building a nest in the broken-off branch of the poplar tree out back. They are sapsuckers, two male and one female. Don't they know they can't do that? It isn't *natural*. But there they are, the three of them, the males speckled, with black heads and
red crests, and the dull little female clearly giving them both orders. One nest. Two males. Kinda like Thorn with her bevy of males. Have you read Seraphs yet? If not, I'll not say more. But like the little sapsucker, she is in charge.
Hmmm. Makes me think or a short-short about Thorn and her guys. I'll have to write and post it on the website. Watch for a note about that!
