I need the Celtic translation for a spell:

"Healing, healing, bloody blight." or death.
or "Heal, heal, bloody blight,"
or "Heal, heal, bood soaked blight,"
or "Heal, heal, blood soaked death?"

Can anyone help?

I saw you're request through Misty's post. I hope you don't mind, but I sent this link to a good friend of mine who should be able to translate. :)

Hi there!

I saw Anonymisty's post referring to your need, and here's the best help I can offer. Let me preface this saying that I am not a native Welsh speaker but have dabbled in learning the language for a little while. For "Heal, Heal, bloody blight", you'd say (as best I can translate)...

"Gwellwch, Gwellwch, mallter gwaedlyd"

Roughly the pronunciation would be:

"Gwe(ll)oo(ch), Gwe(ll)oo(ch), mah(ll)ter gwaidlid"

The "ll" sound is best described as if you put the tip of your tongue to the back of your top front teeth and blew softly (almost as if someone with a lisp pronounces an 's'). The "ch" is as you would say in all the Celtic languages...that throaty sorty of sound as a Scotsman would prounounce at the end of "loch".

Hope that helps!
Ysbryd
